Project Description
PED Concepts is supporting the Prime and U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD in a murage of facility support requirements under this IDIQ. ARL is a collective of over two hundred (200) Government laboratory’s that conducts scientific,technical, and analytical research to provide innovative solutions for the current and future Army. The laboratory’sdiverse assortment of unique facilities and dedicated workforce provides world-class integrated research andanalysis in the Army. As a Government research laboratory, ARL is responsible for basic, exploratory, and advanced research. Its mission is to create and sustain weapons-oriented basic, exploratory, and advanced technologies; to identify and eliminate technological barriers limiting the development of future armament systems, and to establish and maintain expertise essential in solving technological problems in current military armament systems. PED provides facility assessment of operations, preparing orders, receiving materials, tracking, and distributing liquids and materials; conduct inspections as needed; tracks/inventory all Government and Vendor owned equipment and material in support of the plus two hundred independent laboratories located on both North and South locations.
